Depending on your request, we process the following categories of personal data:

• First and last name
• Email address and telephone number
• Your preferences for your desired region and property (Costa Blanca, Cálida, del Sol)
• Indicative budget and the content of your message
• Consent to be contacted and, where applicable, to receive our guide
• Technical details of your visit (IP address, browser type, pages visited)

We use your data only for:

• Responding to your request or enquiry.
• Sending you the guide to buying property in Spain that you have requested.
• Providing personal guidance throughout your property purchase.
• Meeting our legal obligations relating to administration and tax.
• Improving our services and website.

The legal basis is your consent, the performance of a contract or a legitimate interest.

We retain your data for no longer than necessary. We keep prospective client enquiries for a maximum of 24 months after your last contact with us. Data that must be retained by law, such as tax records, is kept for the statutory period of seven years.

We share your data only with third parties needed to provide our services, such as our legal and tax partners in Spain, our hosting provider and our email service providers. We enter into data processing agreements with all these parties. We never sell your data.

Some of our services are provided in Spain, which is within the EU. If we use services outside the EU, we do so only with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (TLS), strict access controls and regular security checks.

You have the right to access and correct your data, restrict its processing or request its deletion. You may also withdraw your consent at any time or object to processing. Please send your request to sandra@lavianova.nl. We will respond within four weeks.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority, via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
